External grinding
External cylindrical grinding allows to operate on external surfaces that are cylindrical or conical in shape and often pertaining to workpieces with complex shapes in which several surfaces are combined (e.g. drive shafts).
The workpiece to be handled is clamped on a spindle that sets it in rotation, while a grinding wheel is placed on a parallel axis that, through transverse movements (along the workpiece) and movements perpendicular to the workpiece (related to the depth of cut), performs material removal.

we produce
We can produce custom-made grinding wheels up to an outer diameter of 1000 mm with a thickness of 150 mm of any shape and profile. Standard delivery time is 45 days.
