Quality
Since its foundation, Mole Ermoli has always considered quality to be the main requirement for its products and services. The company began to operate in accordance with ISO 9000 standards as far back as 1994, obtaining its first UNI EN ISO 9002 certification in 1997. Since 2002 we have been working to make our quality system compliant with TQM (Total Quality Management) principles in order to satisfy the requirements of the European model for business excellence promoted by the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management). In this regard we actively seek continuous improvement in satisfying customers, staff, partners, suppliers and external companies. Our main aim is not to sell a product, but to produce quality: we know that we are not the cheapest, but we are proud of the human aspect behind each grinding wheel and the personality of each member of staff that plays a part in the manufacture of our products.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Mole Abrasivi Ermoli believes firmly in values such as fairness, transparency, loyalty, sincerity and continuous improvement, and strives to apply them in its dealings with everyone who comes into contact with the company. They are human values, as the company is made up of individuals who through their efforts contribute to the well-being of many people. In this regard, the company’s active efforts to ensure continuous improvement in satisfying customers, staff, partners, suppliers and external companies include developing the quality management system that it has adopted in accordance with EFQM principles. Training is managed in conjunction with Company RP-Opus in Busto Arsizio and is planned to remedy the shortcomings of each single person. The company’s management is not merely open to dialogue with other businesses but actively seeks it, as it is convinced of the value of exchanging knowledge, working practices, data and the like. As such it is happy to share – as far as it can – everything that goes to make up its baggage of experience. Requests to visit the factory are always welcome.
MONITORING OF RESULTS
The results of successfully dealing with and satisfying all parties concerned and the related future goals provide an extremely important basis for continuous improvement in every aspect of the business. Starting from an analysis of results, decisions are taken to ensure constant improvement.RESEARCH AND TECHNICAL DATABASE
In collaboration with suppliers of abrasives and a number of customers and machinery manufacturers, our technical staff conducts research aimed at improving the performance of our grinding wheels. A constantly-updated database makes it possible to advise customers on the most appropriate specifications for each specific machining operation, in terms of material, machine, characteristics of the parts to be ground, machining parameters, wheel dressing parameters and even the level of specialisation of personnel.TECHNICAL AND SALES ASSISTANCE
Our technical department provides consulting services free of charge upon request in order to optimise working processes, not only about the grinding wheel but also the dressing tool, lubricoolant and filter fabric. It is often possible to identify anomalies in the grinding machine itself. A technician is always available for any servicing, advice or information requirements.
CONSTANT PERFORMANCE
Constant performance is guaranteed by automatic in-line checks regarding component weighing procedures, mixing (carried out in a climate-controlled workspace), pressing, firing, dimensional tolerances and geometry. Tests performed on the finished product include geometry and dimensional checks, overspeed tests as required by law, balancing of each grinding wheel and a hardness check on each batch.DELIVERY TERMS
We carry a stock of grinding and sharpening wheels, with delivery within 3 to 5 days from receipt of order. We also stock a number of grinding wheels to be finished to the dimensions requested by the customer, with delivery within 8 to 10 days.For made-to-order products the usual delivery terms are as follows:
- 30 days for resinoid-bond grinding wheels
- 45 days for ceramic-bond grinding wheels up to 500x100 mm
- 60 days for larger ceramic-bond grinding wheels
